You can write your own music in Mobile Music and convert to ringtone. Mobile Music can save your own music into MIDI format for other using. It supports many kinds of mobile phone and many models.
The ringtone code for most of mobile phones are Key Press base code. You only press the key showed in these code.
Mobile Music can convert music to RTTTL code, iMelody format and EMelody format code.
After you get ringtone code,
(1) you could input these code into your handset by hand.
(2) copy rtttl code to freeware 'SMS-it' and send to your handset in SMS.
(3)Copy iMelody / EMelody format code and send to mobile phone in infrared or EMS (Enhance Message Service).
