These gears are supported by needle bearing elements and are precision matched to strong 8620 shafts. The Atlas also features a unique twin stick design to deliver crisp, quiet operation. The Atlas has been tested and proven to handle over 900 ft./lbs. The Atlas gear ratio options have been designed to accommodate any type of combination. The 4.3:1 Extreme Low is most popular for rugged terrain. The 4.3 ratio is the ratio of choice when your vehicle is equipped with a manual trans and you plan to participate in rock crawling events. As with any of the Atlas ratios, you'll have the opportunity to select a sensible ring and pinion gear ratio for great street performance too.
