RE: Pop-ups Work. But are they worth it? The pain is over.
Well, I found out the hard way that, while pop-ups do work, and visitors actually do appreciate them if done right, they can be a major pain. Why?
1.To get free traffic I had to share my pop-up contents with others. And I just don't want to be associated with some of the garbage that sneaks into those systems. I want to know what's going up on my site! (You do too don't you?)
2. If I create my own pop-up, I have total control but miss the free traffic that others would generate for me. (We all want free exposure, right?)
So...how can I get control over ALL of the contents of my pop-up AND get the free exposure by having it appear on other sites?
