To make money online you have to have something to sell. One of the best things to sell on the Internet is information. Information products are one of the biggest, if not the biggest sellers online today.
This means that you have 3 options if you want to break into the lucrative market of online sales. You can create your own products, and in lots of ways this is the best course of action but it requires some skills and abilities that you may or may not have. It can also take a lot of time.
Finally you can buy the resale rights to sell someone else's products. This means that having bought the rights you can sell that product over and over again and keep 100% of the sales price. Even if you have produced some of your own products buying the resale rights to others gives you excellent back up products to offer your customers.
At Eclipse Publishing we search the world for suitable products to purchase the Master resale rights for. Usually we then transfer the item to CD ROM before we offer it for sale. Admittedly it would be easier for us just to make it a down loadable file but that could give you, our customers a problem. If your computer crashed or had to be reformatted you could lose that program. With a CD Rom you have it for ever.
Also if you have a CD Writer you can easily copy a CD ROM add a label, (overall cost to you about 50p) and sell it for ten or twenty pounds. What could be simpler?

Understanding the Terms
There are three different types of rights that can be offered and it is important that you understand the difference between the three. Restricted Resale Rights
This is were some limitation is imposed such as where you may sell the program or limiting you to selling at a specific price.
Eclipse Publishing NEVER offer restricted resale rights. Resale and Reprint Rights
With this you acquire the rights to copy and sell the material to your customers. You do not have the right to sell the resale rights to others. Master Rights
This is the best and often the most expensive. Master Rights allow you not only to sell the product as your own but you can also sell the resale rights to others.
