Note Wonder is a "note browser" program that replaces paper notes to reduce desktop clutter. It allows users to quickly write down and browse through small notes and snippets of information on their PC's. Unlike "sticky note" programs, Note Wonder does not clutter up the Windows desktop space with electronic paper notes and is always accessible. With its unique browser functionality, Note Wonder helps users keep track of important information in an easy-to-use, intuitive environment.
Note Wonder enables users to e-mail notes with the Eudora and Outlook families of e-mail programs. Users can create templates, composed of pre-written text and special commands, to facilitate common tasks such as taking a phone message. Note Wonder also features recurring reminders, importing and exporting of text notes, and the use of sounds, which can be configured for all program events.
Because Note Wonder runs in the System Tray, users can instantly access the program and their notes. Users can easily:
- Add, edit and view notes
- Browse forward and backward through notes
- E-mail notes if any MAPI compliant e-mail program like the Outlook or Eudora family of e-mail programs is installed
- Create and use note templates to enter notes quicker
- Import small text files (<32K) into notes
- Export notes to text files
- Set "tickler," reminder alarms in notes for one-time events
- Set "recurring" reminder alarms in notes for events which repeat daily, weekly, monthly or yearly
- Automatically insert date, time, and/or day of week into notes
- Print notes
- Automatically launch your browser to go to URLs contained in a note
- Search for a note by any text within the note
- Customize fonts, foreground and background colors
- Optionally enable sounds to associate with individual program events
- Check for, and automatically upgrade to newer versions
