Mystral.co.uk is designed specifically to help the Bonsai enthusiast to overcome the myriad of obstacles that maybe encountered with this challenging hobby. It is run and managed by John Ainsworth. John is acknowledged as a leading expert on the cultivation of indoor bonsai trees.
His interest in the art of bonsai dates back to 1960 when he spent three years in Malaya growing tropical trees. In 1967, following his return to this country, he founded Tokonoma Bonsai Ltd, which quickly became the largest importer and distributor of bonsai – both indoor and outdoor in the United Kingdom. John has recently retired and sold Tokonoma Bonsai Ltd. having decided to concentrate on developing new interests and building a successful content site for all those who like him have been captivated by “The Art of Bonsai”
