Recipe Builder
Recipe Maintenance Made Easy!
Recipe Builder is a full database to hold your recipes. We also add thousands of our own recipes to get you started, but if you don't want them, you can delete them! Recipe Builder is meant for you to use, not to showcase what we think you want, or should have! You decide what you want to keep or put into it!
You can Search several different ways: You can search the Categories under the recipe Name, Ingredients, Directions, or Memo. You can do a single word search, or multiword searches. If you do not know the spelling, just spell what you know and Recipe Builder will find what you're looking for! Your search can be liberal (any word found in a multi word search), or you can narrow the search (All words have to be found in a search string).
You can Add, Delete, Revise, Copy and Print Recipes: It is frustating to have a collection of recipes that you only look at and there are a lot of them out there. Recipe Builder is not one of them. You have complete control! If you want to delete a recipe, you can! If you want to change a recipe, you can! If you want to add a new recipe, you can! (And, it Will catch duplicates and Not Add Them! Them!) If you want to print one, or many recipes, you can! If you want to copy a recipe from one Category to another Category, you can! (This is great for keeping recipes you want to try in a Temporary Category until you can try them; and then you can to keep the ones you Like in a Permanent Category and Delete the bad ones!)
You can Add and Delete Categories of Recipes: If you decide you want to get rid of an entire Category of recipes, you can! If you want to add a new Category, you can!
You can Compare Recipes: Recipe Builder has a View function where you can store recipes when you want to compare them. You can also print all the recipes in View for a hard copy comparison. You can use Copy to put an entire Category into View. Click Print and the entire Category is printed! Or, Delete the ones from View you don't want printed (The original is still there, it only deletes the Copy in View) and you print only the recipes you want printed without deleting any from your Recipe Collection.
You can Export All Categories or a single Category
and then use AutoAdd to automatically read them into
any Recipe Builder Program: Backup your entire recipe collection and burn it to CD! You can also use Export to send whole categories to relatives and friends! They can use AutoAdd to install the Categories into their copy of Recipe Builder! A simple click of the button moves hundreds, even thousands of recipes from one computer to another!
