Helpful styling hints:
- Hair should be clean and completely dried before using any styling iron.
- Plug the crimper iron into an electrical outlet and slide the on/off switch to the on position, the pilot light will glow. Turn the heat selector dial to the heating level best suited for your hair type.

- Allow the appliance 60 seconds to heat.
- take a 2-inch section of hair and place between the crimping plates and clamp down firmly on the handles. For better results, work from the scalp to the hair end.
- Leave in fine, thin hair for 5 to 8 seconds, or 10 to 15 seconds for thick or coarse hair.
- Carefully, release pressure on the handles and let hair slip out from the plates.
- Crimping requires some overlapping, match the outermost ridge (or crimp) of your hair with the ridge at the end of the crimping plates. Close the crimper around the hair and hold in position again for a few seconds.
- Repeat the process until you achieve the desired look.
- Allow hair to cool. Do not comb or brush since this will undo the hair style.
- Wait for the appliance to cool before storing.
Warnings & Precautions:
Keep away from water. As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are electrically live even when the switch is off. When not in use, "unplug it."
