The Download Toolbar is a download manager, an image viewer and an image organizer implemented as a toolbar in Microsoft's Internet Explorer. It makes the Internet Explorer the only application needed for finding, downloading, and viewing pictures. The toolbar doesn't just download pictures, though. It handles all file types, including movies, documents, and ZIP files. The toolbar lets you associate meta data with downloaded files, and performs searches within the downloaded files based on the meta data. Downloads can be shared with other Download Toolbar users through gallery description files. The toolbar uses the same cookies and sessions as the Internet Explorer, so there are no problems with password-protected sites. A button in the toolbar disables script execution. This is useful when surfing Web pages with many pop-up windows.
