My name is Michelle. In April 2002, I was newly pregnant and starting to become anxious about my changing body, both inside and out.

With fifteen years experience as a Health and Nutrition Coach, a Masters Degree in Holistic Nutrition, a Personal Training Certificate and a Psychology Degree, I figured I had the whole pregnancy, body, food thing covered – BOY WAS I WRONG!

I had SO MANY Questions

So, being the information hound that I am, I went looking for all the answers. Sadly, I came up short. Most of the fashionable pregnancy books were either too playful (not giving me enough practical advice) or too medical (making me more anxious and nervous).

The general feeling out there that I realized is that pregnancy is quite a struggle, that pregnant women often gain a lot of weight, wear over-sized clothing, feel terribly uncomfortable & have NO energy

Not me! I was eager to LOOK good, feel great, and have TRUCK LOADS of energy during my pregnancy. I also aimed to be FREE of aches and pains, dress hot & sexy and of course have an easy time losing weight after having my baby.

And I did it.

New Moms are Often Full of Regret
Most pregnant women use pregnancy as an excuse to eat the house. They let themselves go, indulge in their cravings, and stop exercising.

There’s no arguement that when you have a larger belly, feel sick & nauseous and have aches and pains – the last thing you feel like doing is getting up off the couch or thinking about what you’re about to eat.

And that’s why most pregnant women gain more weight than they should, struggle to lose the excess pounds afterwards, and feel miserable.

How many times do you hear new moms complaining about the “last” five or ten pounds from pregnancy that they just CAN’T seem to lose?

And how many females do you know that have turned to using restrictive diets and strict exercising routines (all the weight-loss “tricks”) to remove those UNWANTED pounds after pregnancy?

In fact, many women spend the rest of their lives feeling like they’ll never get their original body back– they don’t feel attractive or sexy.

Pregnancy Books Are All About BABY
Pregnancy books will just advise you to eat an extra 300 calories and to exercise – but that’s about it. Nowhere could I find WHAT I could/should do in any detail.

Even though I was an “expert” in non-pregnancy fitness, I had TONS to learn about “pregnancy + fitness”. I remember trying to find out HOW I should modify my exercise routine for my pregnancy – what was safe to do and what I needed to AVOID.
