Software with a Prime Category listing are displayed on the main category page which it is listed in. If you click on a category item from the left menu on any page, all prime listings in that category get displayed below the subcategory menu.
Also, at the very top of each subcategory page we display one prime category listing. If there are more than one then they will be rotated. It will also be displayed as a featured subcategory item above all standard listings.
All Prime Category Listings now are recommended on other software listings pages at Download FreeTrial and our mirror sites. For example, if you have a prime category listing in the System Utilities section, your product gets displayed on other product listing pages in the same sub-category (only displayed on other non-featured product listings). If you go to any standard non-featured listing pages at Download FreeTrial, you should see a "Recommend Related Software Titles" section at the bottom of the product page. We display up to 5 prime category listings titles in this location. If we have more than 5 then they will be randomly selected.
The good thing about this feature is if you have a prime or subcategory featured product, this "Recommend Related Software" section will not be display on your product page.
