WebAlbum - WebAlbum is a html photo-album generator written in perl. The Album is divided into chapters, each of which consists of a title, introductory text and an array of thumbnails. Thumbnails can have a legend below them. Each chapter lives in its own sub-directory. WebAlbum searches through the sub-directories of the main album directory for index.txt templates and builds a main album html page and chapter pages in the subdirectories. Thumbnails are produced on the fly if they does not exist already. If no index-file is found, a simple one is produced on-the-fly.

Webgallery - Webgallery is a Perl script that lets you create a webpage showing off a gallery of your images. The current version of Webgallery requires the URI::URL module, as well as PerlMagick. It outputs JPEG formatted thumbnail images in an XHTML 1.0 index page.

WebImageLister - Finally, a no-frills VERY simple but VERY effective, easy-to-install Perl script to display all GIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG and BMP images on-the-fly from a single web directory as thumbnails in an HTML table whose number of columns you can set. WebMagick - WebMagick makes image collections available on the Web. It recurses through directory trees, building HTML pages, imagemap files, and client-side/server-side maps or HTML tables to allow the user to navigate through collections of thumbnail galleries. Using JavaScript, HTML tables and cookies, WebMagick can also allow the viewer to configure how they view the gallery. The primary focus of WebMagick is performance. Image thumbnails are reduced and composed into a single image to reduce client accesses, reducing server load and improving client performance. Everything is pre-computed. During operation WebMagick employs innovative caching and work-avoidance techniques to make successive executions much faster. WebMagick has been successfully executed on directory trees containing many hundreds of directories and hundreds of thousands of images ranging from tiny icons to large JPEGs and PDF files.
