Glory is a brave movie about brave men. It portrayed the little known yet true story about the all-black members of the 54th Regiment of the Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry and their courage during the American Civil War. Glory is also a remarkable achievement in terms of production. Several scenes were shot in Savannah, Georgia, a city whose historic character made it a natural for that part of the film set in Boston.
