I had a chronic case of snoring.
It was a problem when I was young - if I went on trips with friends I would snore and keep them up all night long.

- Snoring arises by a blocked air passage, in that way inhibiting easy and usual breathing while sleeping.
- A nasal blockage causes one to breathe through the mouth which can lead to snoring. In an open-mouth position the tongue is pushed back causing the uvula to press against the back of the throat.
- Throat muscles stay wide open when the body is awake, but at the onset of sleep they relax inwards. Snoring occurs when the airways is blocked by muscles that relax too much.
