I had a terrible snoring problem.

  • Snoring develops in situations where the air passage is blocked, thereby inhibiting normal breathing while sleeping.


  • The more the throat is blocked by the muscles, the louder the snoring.


  • Breathing through the mouth (as a result of a nasal blockage) can cause snoring. If the mouth is open, the tongue is forced back and pushes the uvula against the back of the throat.
