- Snoring arises when the air passage is blocked, thereby inhibiting easy and normal breathing during sleep.
- Nasal blockages can cause snoring because the person has to breathe through their mouth. When the mouth is open, the tongue gets pushed back and makes the uvula to push against the back of the throat.
