I snored chronically.

Even when I was young it was a problem - trips with friends could be difficult because I'd keep them up all night long with my snoring.

  • Snoring occurs when the air passage is hindered, thus inhibiting usual and easy breathing while asleep.


  • The sound of snoring varies with the degree of obstruction.


  • Muscles in the airway are kept open when you are awake, but sag inwards during sleep. Snoring results from the muscles relaxing too much and blocking the throat.
