  • Snoring develops in situations where the air passage is blocked, thereby inhibiting normal breathing while sleeping.


  • Snoring becomes louder as the muscles relax more.


  • Throat muscles stay wide open when the body is awake, but at the onset of sleep they relax inwards. Snoring happens when these muscles become too relaxed and start to block the throat.
