1 Awesome Java Tree is a hip and highly customisable Java sliding tree applet with animated mouseover effects. It comes with a Parameters Editor for Windows that automates the generation of applet HTML code. The applet features customizable image-based scrollbars, colors, fonts, background, and icons for complete freedom of design. Different icons can be displayed for default, mouseover, and expanded states of a node. It supports an unlimited level and number of nodes. Tree nodes slide when expanding. The tree can show which node is selected, can turn on/off tree lines, change the color of the tree lines as well as the background color of the "plus/minus" button. 2D mouseovers include rectangular and oval borders, translucent nodes, custom image-based node, underlining, and pulsating animations. 3D mouseovers include depressable 3D button and popup 3D text for nodes. Other features include expanded tree at startup and captionless nodes.
