TurboFTP is an award winning, fully automated FTP client that transfers
files over the Internet reliably and efficiently. It offers an intuitive
and friendly dual-pane interface that covers both a local folder and
a remote directory. Features like auto-rename, recursive directory delete,
directory filtering, remote editing, opening files with associated program,
directory compare, CHMOD, etc are all at your fingertips. Bookmarks make
your local/remote directory browsing even more convenient. It also comes
with a handy Site Address Book for organization of your favorite FTP
sites, whereby you can import site information from other FTP software.
TurboFTP offers strong interruption and stall protection including
Anti-Idle and Auto-Reconnect, which means that it always try to
reestablish connection and resume broken transfer from where it is
left off whenever the connection is dropped. With TurboFTP scheduled
transfer is easy and flexible.
TurboFTP supports passive mode transfer and eight types of FTP firewall
as well as SOCKS 4/5 proxy. You can even specify a range
of local ports or a specific binding IP it should use. Its
speed limit feature allows you to reserve bandwidth for other data transfer.
Additional features in version v2.98 includes: only download/upload newer files, preserve server file time on downloaded files, show server file time in local time zone, use APPE to resume uploads,view raw remote listing.
